The Federal Pell Grant is available to eligible undergraduate students with high financial need, as determined by the FAFSA. 学生 that have already earned a bachelor’s degree are not eligible for the Pell Grant. The amount of the grant varies based on the student’s level of financial need 和 number of credits in which the student is enrolled. The maximum Pell Grant amount for the 2023-24 academic year is $7,395.

学生 may receive the Pell Grant for a maximum of 12 semesters of full-time enrollment (or its equivalent for less-than-full-time students). More information about the Pell Grant is available 在这里.

奖助金 under the FSEOG program are available to Pell Grant-eligible students. The typical FSEOG amount for a full-time student at Drake is $1,200 per academic year. More information about the FSEOG Grant is available 在这里.

The Iowa 学费 Grant is available to eligible undergraduate students who are Iowa residents and are enrolled at a private college or University in Iowa. Eligibility is based on financial need, as determined by the FAFSA. To apply, students must complete the FAFSA 7月1日前^st (preceding the academic year). The maximum Iowa 学费 Grant amount for 2023-24 is $7,500. Iowa 学费 奖助金 may be applied toward tuition and fees (see Cost Specificity of 奖). 学生 may receive the Iowa 学费 Grant for a maximum of eight full-time semesters. The 威尼斯人网上娱乐格兰特 is available to eligible full-time Bachelor's degree-seeking students with financial need. To apply, students must complete the FAFSA. This award is tuition-specific (see Cost Specificity of 奖 for more information).

The 威尼斯人网上娱乐格兰特 supplements other University-funded 礼物的援助 up to a minimum threshold based on the student’s financial need. T在这里fore, large scholarship packages may displace a student’s eligibility for the 威尼斯人网上娱乐格兰特. 学生 receiving athletic and fine arts scholarships are not eligible to receive a 威尼斯人网上娱乐格兰特.

The Future Ready Iowa Grant is available to undergraduate students who are residents of Iowa, aged 25 or older (as of July 1 prior to the academic year), and enrolled at least half-time in an eligible program (less-than-half-time enrollment permitted only if the student has fewer than 6 credits left to satisfy degree requirements). 在威尼斯人网上娱乐, eligible programs include: Elementary Teacher Education, Secondary Teacher Education, Math for Secondary Education, Music Education, STEM (Science Teacher Education), and Theatre Education. An eligible student may receive the grant up to the equivalent of 4 full-time semesters. Future eligibility requires continuous enrollment in fall and spring semesters. 

To apply, students must complete the FAFSA 和 Iowa Financial Aid Application. For 2023-2024 the FAFSA must be completed by December 1, 2023 和 maximum annual award is $3000.
